If you prefer working from large 17 by 22-in. blueprints in building the "Sovereign of the Seas," a complete set of eight prints, which cover all details of this remarkable model, will be sent upon receipt of $1.50.
Ornamentation of the "Sovereign" depends mostly on the miniature carvings that are glued to the hull. Time and skill ordinarily required to carve these by hand, are eliminated with the use of our "Craftmats." These are matrices into which impressions from the original wood carvings have been made and which have been specially impregnated so that the user can simply press on a thin layer of a quick-drying plastic compound, remove it and, when sufficiently dry, glue the resulting imitation carvings to the hull.
